I've added a HTTP proxy to a profile and when I start the profile I receive this error message after the first search.

"The webpage at https://www.google.com/search?q=........ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED"

Does anybody have an idea why?

Thanks!

I am one of the owners of Incogniton, that is always a proxy connection error. Recheck your proxy details, don't forget to add a port.
Thank you, appreciated.

I've rechecked proxy details are correct and port is added - result is the same. How would you interpret this?

Check like this: https://incogniton.com/knowledge%20center/test-proxy-with-firefox-foxyproxy/
It can happen that your own device is blocking the connection. Disable any vpns you have.
Noted, thanks!

Try to check if the proxy is working properly and check if it's not HTTP but SOCKS 5 or 4. It can put other proxies or an anti-detection browser. I am using Go Browser now, there are no problems

Hi, the problem can be solved in different ways: checking & disabling proxy settings, update network settings or changing DNS address.

This is a proxy error. Probably google domains are blocked.
