Neither, I actually find them to be a necessary part of the community; despite what many think, they actually help to maintain order on forums.
Without going into too much detail, let's just say they often discourage ill-intentioned users from posting by calling them out.

I've seen people get banned who were heavy on trolling. I think it's acceptable but you can't be doing it all the time.

uh... trolls is just a made up description for the newer special population
we used to & still do call them assholes, they always existed, just the term changed.
Apparently, it's insulting to call someone an asshole but it's ok to call them a troll.

That guy posted dumb ideas every time.
In some posts he recommended ppl to get a job, but in other ones, he did dumb mathematics telling you would be millionare with a business.
Sometimes it was Udemy courses, sometimes an e-commerce, etc.
Also, Idk why I didn't see anyone replying him and telling he was wrong.
