Seeking Advice on Link Building for New Website

I launched my website seven months ago and have been working hard to build quality backlinks. However, it's been challenging. Some link sellers want $500 per link, which is too expensive for me right now. I've also tried contacting site owners to contribute guest posts in exchange for a backlink, but I haven't received any responses yet.

What are some affordable, effective tactics you'd recommend for a new site like mine to gain relevant backlinks? Any tips or suggestions for valuable resources would be greatly appreciated!

The most affordable and at the same time effective method would be what you tried(doing the outreach yourself). It'll cost you time but it's the only way that would give you the lowest possible prices for certain websites.

It's a numbers game, you have to do more and more of it. Some would respond. Amongst those who did, some would quote ridiculously high price others may give you price that you can afford.

Alternatively, you could pay a VA to do the outreach for you. But outreaching is not just all about blasting emails to webmasters.

You have to write your email in a manner they'd know it's spam and would take you seriously.

just start with social links and share you website links to the socials.. and dont go for huge pay links until you what is that for your project/website... keep your back link strategy simply and you can do your own T1 links and there are some good seo basic guides here in BHW

Use good keyword research using strell or keywordchef to get a bunch of good low competition keywords to target. Then use SEOwriting.ai or better still a human to write large amounts of very high quality content. Publish every week. Use statistics added manually to attract backlinks, including graphs etc

For guest posting, don't just shoot in the dark. Research blogs in your niche with good engagement, understand their content style, and pitch them with tailored ideas. It's about adding value to their audience, not just getting a backlink.

Leverage social media to amplify your content. Well-crafted, shareable content can attract natural backlinks.
Local directories and community sites can be gold for backlinks.
