Hello guys,
I am running a youtube sports channel and it's monetized, but the earnings are shocking. I posted this video on 14th Jan 2 days ago and it got 2.5k views, but earnings are only $0.26. What could be the problem? Is this niche dead, or youtube is not calculating all my earnings?
I need your idead.
NB. All my videos are facing the same issue. They are getting around rpm of $0.2.
I run a gaming channel and it's getting around $1.2 rpm with same country audience.

Am thinking about adding affiliate marketing so that i can earn some cash, because youtube adsense is too low.
Any affiliate which are legit?

Where are your viewers located? What country?

New channels earn less, when the channel becomes aged, your RPM will improve further.

Yes this seems about right. YouTube Adsense revenue depends on so many factors including;
The country the views are from
What niche the channel is in
Long videos or short videos

Just to name a few, but again there’s so many factors that plays a part in how much your earnings are no channel will see the same exact results regardless if they are in the same niche. You’ll see what your CPM vs RPM is and this will give you better understanding of how much you are earning per 1000 views.

Just know that no YouTuber makes the same amount of money. You could have for example 10,000 subscribers and still make more money than someone with 50,000-100,000 subscribers. Just depends on those factor above.

The cpc and rpm can be less. It differs if the traffic is from countries like India, you will earn very less with such traffic.
