How to record phone calls on Android

Sorry if this question does not go here. I didn't know where to put it.

I have changed my smartphone after 5 years. And now I can't record phone calls. It seems that the most recent versions of Android removed the recorder option.

Due to work issues, I use that feature a lot. I have tried all the apps from the Play Store. None of them work.

I have also tried other options, such as using the screen recorder. It does not work either.

Do you know any simple solution to get it? I don't want to root and lose the warranty.

The features of my phone are:
Model: Poco M4 5G (not PRO version).
Android version: 13 TP1A.220624.014
MIUI version: MIUI Global 14.0.7.0 (TLSMIXM)

I don't think it's legal to record phone call without the consent of the other side, I have a redmi 10 pro, and I have the option to record the phone call, but it play an audio telling the other caller that this phone call will be recorded, and then the recording start. and I also tried a lot of app that auto record but the quality was not good at all, the best option I found when I has a Samsung phone is to find a custom rom that have that option.

My rom doesn't have that option or another similar. The idea is do it with the same rom and maintain the phone's warranty.

It is not a question of whether it is legal or not. But if you are concerned, in my country, it is legal if you don't share the recording.

I tested it, but it didn't work. I still need it.

I think all depends on the country.

I tried it. I spent hours with them. But they didn't work for me.

Cube call recorder, I use that , it's a good recorder for Android.

I think it's because of the ROM, I had it before on my phone but after updating Android it suddenly disappeared

Downgrade ur android version or change region (India still hast it I think)

Yes, it probably has to be the ROM. I think it has the one for my country. I prefer not to change it yet because the phone is under warranty.

I found an app that might work, but it charges about 2€ per call. That's excessive.

Everything you are telling me, I have tried.

The point is that the European rom of MIUI has something that prevents to use those APPs. I know the best solution would be to change the rom, but I don't want to do it (yet) because I might lose the warranty of the phone.

If there is any APP that works, I'm sure it's not in the Play Store.

I used call recorder and call record pro and they were helpful but there is a bad problem, battery usage of applications was more then 60% and my phone heated up continuously.

Ahhhh same problem on Nokia, Europe too. I needed this for dispute proof, ended up installing audio recorder on 2nd phone and did loud call on speaker on first phone + 2nd one laying around with sound recorder.

This is insane, there should be option to do this while playing consent message to the person being recorded. Turning this off completely is just too excessive.
