How do I know when I'm ready to sell my web programming skill?

Hello, I'm about to finish my CCS course and then I would need the Javascript course. The problem I have is that I feel like I don't remember everything and I'm not sure how to know if I'm already qualified to sell it.

any tips with that? I probably still have too much to learn to know but if anyone has been in this situation I would greatly appreciate your tip.

Find an internship. That's the best way possible to test and polish your skills. Expectations are not too high, you get to learn a lot and if you perform well, you may even get hired full time.

Coding is one of those things that you can never truly fully learn. It's a thing that you need to work on forever.
You can code 8 hours a day for 20 years, and you'll still learn something new everyday.


How long to get to the point where you can start selling your expertise?

Depends really on how much you study a day of course, but with very intense studying, you can probably start selling front-end stuff after 1 year.

Also,
HTML, CSS and JS alone won't be enough nowadays. You'll also need to learn JS libraries and/or frameworks, if you want to get paid someday.

Just buy a few of the other courses out there, and then make yours better. I bought CSS/html/js courses in the past that have been gash. And others that have been great. I'm getting ready to release a paid tutorial on udemy, and I know nobody has the same course material as me, as I already bought most of whats well respected and popular on there.

You can try making websites with wordpress and one of the many page builders. In this case no coding is needed.

I don't it is possible to get an internship with only knowledge of css. JS is a must and probably react, git, one of the UI frameworks.

This is what I'm doing. I don't have the money to buy courses, but I'm looking at Brocode courses and I'll probably look for others.

As such, I don't want to create a page for myself, but rather work on creating web pages and I don't think that just knowing WordPress is necessary.

I probably offer my service for free just to fill out a portfolio, that's a good idea.

Do post in some FB groups that you can do that marketing job for free or charge very less money ,
In this way you can do practically things , definitely this will be more difficult but if you are good at finding the solution, you can do it as Google has all answers of your questions.
