Host that allows mass emailing

Hello,

I have a list of over 3,000 emails that I need to notify about something. What host is cheap and allows me to send all those emails without blocking them?

Is there one like that?

Any help would be awesome.

Personally, I think you should use a good strong service like Aweber. They are professional and reliable.
There are also similar free services like GetResponse or EmailAces but I use Aweber and I find them very good.

The best way to find out what a web host's limits are is to use the Live Chat feature found their websites, or email them directly and just ask (they usually don't advertise this). correct, i would suggest a VPS or Dedicated Server so users can tweak the MTA settings for larger lists

I agree. Considering your can get a VPS for as much as a shared hosting plan, this definitely seems like the most logical option. This is of course assuming that you can administer a VPS properly.

@op: use gmail smtp or find yourself a vps. You won't be able to do this with shared hosting. Hosts these days have notifications on every aspect of their server and you'll get flagged as spamming real quickly.

Administering a vps is easy...first thing you need to do, which is also a must, is install yourself a webmin software. It'll allow you to manage every service easily on your vps, from smpt to firewalling (iptables), and etc

If you have over 100k address list I would get a dedicated server from ev1 or serverbeach. Sendstudio does good with a list of that size.. I tried to use a list of 1.5 m and it crapped.. I have been using volomp with a list of 35m yahoo..

Anyways for 3,000 addresses you could go with just about any webhost.. Just be sure to follow the rules, remove bounces, remove unsubs, use postal address in mailing, don't send false or misleading subjects.. Do that and you won't have a problem with most hosts in the us and a.

i have an hosting company with a VPS so maybe able to help some of you out just got to work out costing etc and we are from the USA
would 0.02 per mail for the 1st 50k be to much and 0.01 anything after that also we could not allow spam but 250k-500k per day should be ok for us to send for you

Do it on your own or pay someone to do it for you
