[GUIDE] A degenerate guide to buying memecoins | CASE STUDY AND LIVE WALKTHROUGH

Ownership not renounced
Yesterday was watching some pairs and on dexscreener in GO+ it says that ownership is not renounced but when i checked by myself on etherscan contract -> owner function it had 0x0000 so it was renounced i believe. What to do in situation like this?

By the way, I know I will have people call BS on the $GNoME coin

Here is the updated chart, sitting at $130,000 marketcap. Just over 3x.

Watch along as I either retire tonight or respond to questions in the morning hahaa!
Hey, thank you for this beautiful masterpiece. I’m an absolute beginner in dealing with shit coins. I’ve dabbled in regular crypto on Binance global and that’s it.

Given this steps you meticulously explained, I read every part and understood 90% of it. My concern is the implementation of the steps. Although I’m willing to try, but I’ll appreciate if you share any relevant trading bot and how to use them.

Aside metamask, can I use Binance General for this project ?

What is the timeframe of buying and selling your shit coins? Is it within minutes, hours, or days ?

Lastly, what’s your advise to an absolute beginner embarking on this project ?

I look forward to your response, thank you!

0) Firstly thank you for taking the time to read and more importantly take action - I’m happy that Solana worked for you and you were able to 5x your investment. Welcome to shitcoining.

1) Raydium is terrible. I hate it and prefer to use Bonk Bot for brand new launches. Raydium is good after it decides it wants to register the pair as tradeable.

2) I haven’t heard of that before, it’s OK to use high slippage on Solana as there are not many MEV bots yet. Key word - yet, I use upwards of 40% slippage on Solana.

3) No you can use a tool like Maestro for trailing stop loss, auto sell at x interval etc etc.

4) Haha your first rugpull. My guess is it happened on Solana, use rugcheck.xyz for Solana tokens and always wait for liquidity burn for Solana new pairs.

5) This is fine just put anything for it, once again Raydium is being shitty.

PM for the links to Maestro or Bonk bot
Hello , I logged in to bonkbot 3 days ago to trading solana shit coins. I would apreciate any help with that. ( telegram grp or shit coin scanner)

Bon guide.
Where Can i find drama in crypto?

What I don't get is, how to view if the liquidity is locked when looking up SOL pairs. Could you also add that to the guide?

Or if not available for SOL pairs, what we could do to safeguard ourself against it.

It is not possible to lock LP on SOL, only to burn it, you can find out if the pool was burned on BonkBot or some other services - rugcheck.xyz

Crazy. These coins are pathology.

Maybe I'll try becoming a crypto alcoholic (pun intended!!!) soon.

But I said no drinks till 2025. fuck

This is a great post. I may actually give this a shot.

If I lose money, @Sol you will have to reimburse me :p

If I make money, you get a box full of cookies my friend :D
I got one cooking again shortly tailored for Solana specifically.

Eth making me go broke with the transaction fees.

Double choc chip is my preference from now :anyway:

2025 is rumoured to be the end of the bull run (2024 the start)

So it’s either going to be celebratory drinks or sorrow drinks

I love double choc too. So you'll share half the box I'll gift you with me then :p

Sweet, solana, no/low fees. Looking forward to it.

$20 bucks just to buy anything with ETH, right?

$20 bucks to buy it
$20 bucks to sell it

You better hope there is no hyped coin launching or no ETH related news out or no NFT drops happening

During the bullrun of 2021 all 3 of these things would happen at the same time, I used to pay $400 in fees one way.

Actually, funny we talk about it now. There is a coin that just launched which it's sole purpose is to migrate people from ETH to Solana

https://twitter.com/LessFnGas

Pretty cool concept, if you had paid over $4,000 in ETH gas on any wallet you were eligible for an airdrop ( I claimed over $2,000 in LFG tokens ) from my wallets simply because of how much I spent on fees.

Hi Sol,

First, some appreciation. Thank you so much for this detailed post. I am very interested in becoming a degenerate like you. Secondly, I thought the guide was really funny. I actually laughed out loud a few times. Thank you for the entertainment while also filling me with knowledge.

I have so many questions, however I don't want to inundate you, so I will start with a couple.

1) Are there any mistakes you made that would be good pitfalls for a beginner to watch out for?

2) Say I want to start with the Solana strategy because of the low fees (is the Solana still your low fee go to?). How would you manage your funds to start? I was thinking $100 bank roll and throwing $5 at each good coin I see. Are these good numbers? Is there a maximum cap of coins I should be invested in to start? Can I lose money while simply not paying close enough attention to my coins?

Thanks again!

This is pure luck based game

You can make 100x or -99.9%

Invest what you can afford to lose
Yeah. Real black hat is about making luck work to your advantage. This is kinda white hat journey. Maybe grey hat at best.

I think black hat way to make money off crypto would be to start a casino with crypto payments. Or start some other web 3 project.

When real black hatters join lotteries, they have 1000 entry tickets out of 1000 available. :D

"start a casino with crypto payments. Or start some other web 3 project."

Do you know how to do this or are there just ideas you have?

How come this shows up in my reply recap but not your original post? Was it edited?

Hey thanks for the questions!

1) Thousands, mainly due diligence at the start and trust. Do NOT trust anyone in the crypto space, nobody cares about you or what you know. Everyone in Crypto is there to make money and keep it moving, you will find helpful people but don’t for a second think anyone will put YOU before them.

Don’t trust anyone in the space, use everyone to your advantage take the good and leave the bad.

Once again, trust nobody. You may eventually find yourself in a small community or even a groupchat with 3-4 people where you just grind charts all day but end of the day they are there to make money.

2) You can’t lose money, You will. It’s almost inevitable to not lose money at the start. You have no idea about KOLs, dev wallets, MEV bots, slippage, low liquidity, minting blah blah blah. You will lose money, that’s uncontrollable. However, you can control how much you lose and that comes with being selective with plays.

Solana is my go to and actually I don’t hold a single cent of ETH anymore. Solana right now is popping off even today I cleared well over $7,000 (remember shitcoins are degenerate and no fundamentals. Someone else lost $7,000 today)

Sure, having $100 and putting $5 in every good coin sounds great but reality is it’s boring. What you need to do if you are interested in memecoins is find a community that also is interested in these memecoins. That way, you learn strategies and can ask questions along your journey.

Dude! What the actual fuck? TWICE You literally said in the guide for people to send you their seed phrase. I assumed that was for you to manage my wallet and make me buckets of duckets. Now, I find out I can't trust you? or anyone? I'm imagining you screwing me over... you asshole.

No worries. I believe I have the right mindset for this kind of environment. I'm confident I can swim with sharks. That being said, I truly appreciate how helpful you have already been to me.

I love the thoughtful and detailed response. My brain is made to be both curious and detailed. Just the simple list of "KOLs, dev wallets, MEV bots, slippage, low liquidity, minting" is a gold mine to me. I'll be looking into figuring out all of those until I understand them. I'd rather prevent mistakes then learn from them, as much as possible, you know?

I really showed my ass in my post, eh? From you answers I get the impression that I don't know what I don't know. (i.e. the first stage of competence, unconscious incompetence) Oh well, I have to start somewhere, why not the beginning?

Thanks again @Sol and I trust you again (I have learned nothing)

Nice guide.

This is called shitcoin casino :D

Not an investment strategy.

Still like it, thanks for sharing
