Automated Movie Script

Hi bhw fam,

I am looking to write a script that will pull movie data from tmdb and movie links from 2embed and then import them with the proper styling to my site.

I have already gotten a few quotations for this but I wanted to see if it is possible for me and my novice dev friend to do it. (Save some €$)

Does anyone know of any good guides out there explaining a similar process or can anyone post about the steps I would need to take to achieve something like this?

Congrats! Enlighten us with some updates. And can I ask you a few questions about it if you don't mind?
1. Did you buy the script or you hired a dev to code it for you?
2. Are you using a micro streaming site or a macro site?
3. Are you monetizing it through CPA or CPM..?

1: Hired a dev to help me and we worked on it together for a couple months
2. It is a custom site with over 50 thousand movies and 25k shows all auto updating/importing
3: Monetising it mainly through pop unders using adsterra and monetag

2. Domain and hosting cost and did you pay with crypto e.g. Monero since it is untraceable or you used another currency?
3.Is the script working as advised and importing/updating the data with the proper styling of your site?
4. Did you start with a shared hosting plan and updated to to a bigger plan/vps as the website grows?
5. Is the script using TMDB API? And is it a PHP script?

3. Script working perfectly after lots of revisions and changes
4. This isnt my first site when I had a micro movie site I was on a shared hosting but now with the custom site I need to go bigger (dedicated 512gb) smaller will do aswell depends on how many movies you planning to import

Nice, I developed several movie sites too, but just for private purposes, with TMDB and 2embed, so I didn’t have to upload them by myself. I could’ve developed the PHP script for cheaper than 1k

2. Did you use monero or just BTC?

4. did you also use CPA content locking on the micro movie site for starter?

if you are doing that, in practice it is better that you learn and do it yourself, little by little and with effort you can do good things, what you say is not complicated at all and you need basic knowledge, you save money, you save future problems and you save having to manage and maintain your project in the least amount of hands possible.

you can try to use vidsrc, some of my clients use it and it is half stable, although it does not have too much content, the important thing is here

is that your system allows you to change the links easily and massively, you can do it doing something like vidsrc.com/v/${tmdb_id}, when vidsrc stops working, it is as easy as changing the host and you will continue working.

rest assured that you will end up shutting down any host you use, it is best to be prepared.
