Totally agree, how can't they be biased with text relevance, if they are analyzing within the same group (which happens to be the ranking page itself)This Semrush Ranking Factors report is the dumbest case study thing that I have seen in SEO history.

If they did cohorts for a long while, like the whole year, for say, a couple of randomly selected keywords, and see how sites coming into top 100, were a able to go to top 10, and check correlated variables with the already top 10 ranking pages, then it would be somewhat beliveable and probably relevant.
