Newbie here ... having a proxy question

Hello, ive heard this is the place to be asking about proxies.

so im trying to run my internet traffic thru a VPN first and then thru a proxy, so that the website for example only sees the proxy IP.

Ive read multiple times that its possible but i cant find a way on how to do it.

Can somebody help me please?

Is it mandatory to run VPN + Proxy for your task? Or are you just trying to hide your IP from a normal website?
Why not run one of them only?

Yes, it is necessary as i want encryption but also need a not blacklisted and if possible the same ip in the future when logging in or visiting the website.

You want encryption = You only need a proxy.
Not blacklisted = A seller must not sell you a blacklisted proxy, if it's the case, you can ask for refund or replacement.
The same IP = You are looking for a static non rotating Residential or ISP proxy. If you have budget you can go with a Mobile 4G/5G proxy.

The encryption of a proxy is not as good as a vpn as i know right? the isp apparently has no encryption at all?

Yes, but a vpn might be blacklisted, thats why i mentioned it.

Regardless, would you tell me how to set it up? VPn first and then proxy after?

You can do that with apps like Proxifier. You can also use it with a specific application such as chrome and set up the VPN system wide

is there free alternatives to proxifier?

I tried to set it up thru chrome on my system >network and internet>proxy and even tho i do exactly as everybody does, it doesnt work for me. So a free external program would hopefully solve.

you can do something like a portable browser. in the host you use vpn and in your browser you use proxies

and this way everything i search in the browser goes thru vpn first and then proxy?

internet connection => vpn => browser with proxy
