News site traffic and distribution

Hi there guys,

I have a fresh news site, started in Sept 2023, on a 10-year-old domain. The website is approved in google news and flipboard (rejected in bingpub).

5-7 new posts are created daily. Google indexes them within mins. But the site is not showing in Google News. Maybe the Authority issue DA7 and DR0.7 or something.

So the questions :

1. How do you people promote News site?
2. Traffic how where when?
3. Best way to increase DA/DR for a news site?

any help would be appreciated. Im really working hard to get this off the ground.

It is because the domain has been dormant for a while. It lacks topical strength. I suggest you to hire writers or get stories out and start building it from there. Choose Quantity and let the indexed article start accumulating impressions on searches and you will eventually get indexing in news feed as well.

Use a quality keywords with proper headings, get a influencers in other sites , build a quality backlinks , be active its helps you to boost DA/DR.
 
1. Select high AS Traffic, DA sites for guest posts with different and available keywords(low KD and relative high volume) and landing pages, from Homepage to Category Pages or Article Pages. Finally purchase them after detailed communication with suppliers in Freelancer or Fiverr. I always buy some as an SEOer for so long time, have not punished by Google.
2. Get a right backlink building strategy, you need have enough sites from high to Low DA for getting guest posts or backlinks. Can get them from your competitors in SEMrush.

Update: The website has been approved in Bing News as well. Now I really need to start build authority and EEAT. I'll keep updating this thread as I get new stuff done.
 
I'm going to disappoint you - Google News has no effect on your site's display and traffic. It takes a year of good reputation for Google to start showing you often in the news. And before that, in addition to posting news, you need to often create a reason for a sharp increase in the method of link to your news to get into the test rendition in Google News. In general, get ready for a year or two to wait for traffic and traffic, if you can get it, and otherwise - full pessimization and never any more shows.

That sounds so freakin sad. :( what would you suggest though? how do I proceed with link building? also is Bing News any good?
Niche is fashion/celebs
 
I am keen to know more about BING NEWS too, this platform seems underrated and i am unable to find experts on this aspect

That's the issue. Years ago my money page happened to land on google news for 2 weeks and the results is impressive. Up till now i don't now what was it that i did during marketing to result in this. It suddenly appeared on news section and was removed 2 weeks later.

There was no article bro, it redirects to my money page that is the weird thing. Up till today i still can't find out how that happened. At that time i was only working on backlinks. But what appeared on news was not some other backlink page, it was directed to my main domain.
