Hi

I am a 19yr old guy, i just graduated from high school. and 5 months ago I decided to jump into this online world.
I tried a bunch of things to make some money but I didn't.

and I just realized the importance of having a high-income skill and after some research, I decided to go with copywriting for many reasons. (if you are a copywriter it would be helpful if you gave some advice)

(i actually have a skill, I am a short-form video editor, I spend a lot of time searching for clients)

currently, I am growing some Pinterest accounts, one of them crossed 700k monthly views. once it hits 1M or maybe more I will make a blog and drive that traffic to it.

Now my main focus is to have a stable sort of income by the summer. (then I'll aim for more)

this may be a BORING journey but I will share everything in it, so it would be helpful for newbies like me.

I will keep updating for years. (once or twice a month, or maybe more depending on the progress)

people with EXPERIENCE I am waiting for your advice.(any kind of advice)

I saw so many negative people here if you are one of them, get the fuck out of here, please

And, thanks in advance!

Copywriting will continue to become more difficult as AI inevitably becomes better. It’s already had a huge impact on copywriters.

Stick with learning skills that are hard to replace with AI, video editing and Pinterest sounds cool and useful. My question would be why wait for 1 million, start the website asap and begin funnelling that traffic over.

agree with the person above, copywriting is way too saturated/difficult unless you are great at building a personal brand. small businesses will use AI, larger businesses will pay a reputable copywriter they know they can get good returns from.

Start a business growing pinterest accounts, there is a market for that

Copywriting demand is decreasing with time. You should pick a skill where there is lot of demand in future and less supply.

Good luck on your journey and make sure to take advantage of chatgpt while you are on your journey.

Yes, it will. It's only a matter of time.
So, does that mean it's not worth learning copywriters these days?
I thought that AI is a tool, not a replacement.

thank you guys, I will take your opinions seriously

If you can make money on e-mail using affiliate products, you can get clients as a copywriter.

If you can't sell affiliate products via e-mail (as a test of your skills), you have no proof you're a copywriter.

Hope that you understand copywriting is selling using text, nothing else.

They will pay for sales, or at least they will pay if they know you have proven track record of successful ad campaigns where your copywriting was involved.

Copywriting isn't content writing. Content writing has turned into AI correction and proofreading.

Not sure about that.

You'll soon realize that the copywriters are starving here by not having enough clients... the niche is saturated and unless you put out really high-quality content for a good price you might not cut it.

Things might be better elsewhere but the level of entry in copywriting is quite easy and now you are competing against AI too so it probably will come down to the fees you are charging... Anyway, good luck.

I would argue most digital skills are not worth learning these days.

My advice? Learn sales and/or social media marketing. Can't go wrong with those.
