Hey all, Happy New Year in advance.

I really want the genuine advice on this, Actually mu sister just turned 18 has interest in animation, from last 2-3 months she is learning photoshop, after effects too to start the journey and recently i get to know about a animation course of MAAC institue. It's a 2.5 yr course in which they will taught her about animation and gaming chracters too.

From many i have heard that instite is good and bad and some are saying that self learning is enough since she is not a self learner do you it is good to opt for course or should i send her for internship.

Please let me know your thoguhts as it can help us in making choices.

Thank you

I believe Udemy is an excellent platform to begin your learning journey. There's no requirement to invest in costly courses, and the majority of Udemy courses are available for free. However, instead of opting for free downloads, I recommend supporting the instructors by purchasing the courses, rather than obtaining them for free.

She is a very slow learner i have to keep her with me in order to learn anything as she keeps get distracted by insta, snapchat.

100% if she has an interest in it then why not? Passion could lead to something big.

Getting a job will let her know if she can do that professionally.

I have plenty of skills that I would never, ever, be able to use for someone on regular basis.

The fact you like something, doesn't mean you'll like a job related to that interest. For example... sex. I know it sounds silly and extreme, but everyone likes that, yet nobody wants to do sex for money.

Cheers.

that is why i enquired for course and also in group with similar interest she can also learn and will get to know that she needs to learn more in order to shine in the industry.

or grow her artistic profile using black hat methods on social media

but then she will get distracted and become another internet marketer

Initially i just want her to learn and then she can decide herself that whether she wants to do freelancing or join corporate world.

I don't know what it is called now, or if it even is still out there.
Alias Wave Fronts Maya 3.0 and the Gnome work shop. I just did every lesson 5 times and bamb, can make film grade special effects and movie quality animations. You can spend a lot of money learning or just pirate the ware and learn (They actually don't care if you pirate it just so long as you license it when you go into business)

EDIT: autodesk maya, but crack one of them open, it is very simple if you follow the instructions, and then when she is ready to go pro she can buy a license.

Yes, if she has interest in animation. Then yes, people tend to do good in jobs they have interest in.

MAAC institue from India? Total scams like this Scam NIIT or scam Aptech.

I bought 15+ courses from udemy.com for INR 6800

Can you believe 15+ super informative courses?

Cartoonsmart is good too for learning.

Did she even do Google search for NIIT or MAAC scams? super basic and low quality courses
