You can monetize YouTube for 3000 watch time with membership, supers and shopping, but if you want to monetize with ads, you need to get 4000 watch hours

YouTube has actually updated its monetization requirements recently. Now, you'll need 3,000 watch hours and 500 subscribers and at least 3 uploads in the last 3 months.
