Yes, this is possible. I develop Android applications, provide reskin services and have my own applications on Google Play. Based on my experience, I can say that this is possible. There are three ways to make money from Google Play.
1. A good application that complies with policies + Advertising = An application that has no policy problems and generates long-term income. This is much more difficult to do.
2. An application against the policies = It brings profit in a short time and does not require any advertising expenses. However, it is eventually removed from Google Play because it does not comply with the policies. Although it is easy to earn money this way, it is not suitable for beginners. Because serious policy violations may result in the closure of your Google Play account.
3. An application that complies with policies + No advertising required = Yes, everyone's dream. This is really difficult to do. However, when you do it, it will give you passive income for many years. Do not expect very high income from the applications you make in this way (a few hundred dollars at most). These applications have a maturation period. Although it varies depending on the sector, you will get results from your application within a maximum of 6 months.
The biggest mistake of those trying to enter this sector is to insist on the first path. The first way is very costly and if you do not have experience in this regard or do not get support from professionals, it is inevitable that you will fail. Application development from scratch + advertising expenses require a large budget. Instead, it would be better to choose smaller applications that will meet the needs of users for a start.
