Is there really a money in NSFW AI-generated?

Okay, so I've been into AI art lately. I created a Facebook page where I post my AI images and it now has almost 8K followers. I wasn't really expecting to make money out of it. My objective is to use it as a platform through which I can promote the novel that I am writing, as many of the iimages I post there are characteers and scenes from the novel.

Now, as I encounter other AI image enthusiasts, there are peope who are into NSFW images, and they have Patreon accounts with members. Now here are my questions:

1. In Patreon, does having members imply that the content provider is earning, or is there such thing as "free level" membership?
2. Are there people who are willing to pay to see AI generated NSFW images? I'm having doubts on this for two reasons:
   • Why would anyone pay for AI images of naked ladies? There are lots of free pornsite.
   • Why would anyone pay to see AI naked images prompted by others? They can prompt them for free.

I'm hypothesizing it might have a great earning potential but I don't want to waste time on something that might not work in the end. Time is limited and I don't want to chase any fads out there. I just want to make a quick buck of about $1500 per month for a short while to feed myself and family while building up other sources of income that I'm hoping will allow me to earn bigger bucks for a longer time.

Also, questions about my existing AI images:

1. Is there a way I can monetize my current facebook page while the novel is not yet out? Should I, or it would be better for it to focus on the novel?
2. Should I promote my existing AI images to other platforms like Deviant Art and Instagram?

Quite difficult mate. I have 3-4 hentai themed fb and insta pages with followers ranging from 10k-30k (real easy to gain followers in this niche) with fully naked cartoon girls and insane engagement ratio. But not a single one of those horny fucks converted to real money. I tried lots of monetization strategies including patreon, doujin reading website, nsfw chatbot with premium subscription, hentai cpa affiliates,etc.

Also wanted to share my experience here, I have an FB page with around 50K followers, I post semi realistic NSFW images, I link up my patreon, even have a pixiv for it but it never converted into real money. I look at some example with real artists and looks like they get engagements by being real artists themselves, they comment funny things, they run a youtube, they tend to their twitters and socials 24/7, but I'm here making around 1 image per second with SD and just blindly posting it on my fb page, no engagement with my community at all, so maybe thats why no one's signing up for my patreon, I've even have a discord but yeah, it's dead, if you want to make money with AI you're gonna have to do the effort to engage with your community.

I look at some example with real artists and looks like they get engagements by being real artists themselves, they comment funny things, they run a youtube, they tend to their twitters and socials 24/7, but I'm here making around 1 image per second with SD and just blindly posting it on my fb page, no engagement with my community at all, so maybe thats why no one's signing up for my patreon, I've even have a discord but yeah, it's dead, if you want to make money with AI you're gonna have to do the effort to engage with your community.

If you want to understand diffusion models and setup your own model for porn that would work but not everyone can do that
