Viral pages

So im still new in the FB scene, and im really wondering, what makes a page go viral? Some of the biggest pages I see have no different FBML or anything on them. 1 particular page has almost 600k fans since 1-28-10. I see lots of pages, normal pages, with no fbml with over 500k friends. So what makes a page successful? Theres got to be more to it then the topic.

What makes the page go viral is what the title is and how hard you promote it.

Of course a good catch title won't need as much work.

On fb search these strings: "I hate when" "I love when" "I remember" etc you see they are huge because they related to the masses.

Find any dumbass line that make people identify themselves with (ie: I play not steping in street lines!), make a fan page with that on the name, suggest to 10k friends and BOOM you got yourself a winner.

if your page is growing quickly then launch some new pages from it too

ok you want advice or insight? read around the forum, do your research, and then practice what others have preached...it will work wonders...or just buy a big page and use it to promote your others before it gets deleted...works fine for me...

Since facebook has made it where you have to verify fan pages how did you go about doing this? Since any general pages are suppose to be put under control of FAcebook if they get to big, I'm curious how to verify any pages these days>?

Do better - I attracted 406,000 fans in the first day of page's creation... as addition, the page wasn't in english.

To answer the thread.... pages like 'I hate when' , 'I love summer' were very successful when Facebook changed its news feed. People see their friends joining in those 'so true' pages and they join as well. Now such pages are old (trivial) and if you create some, it has 5% chance to go viral (my point of view).

Go get the friend bomber from the download section..yes that involves doing the research and using the search button! Or else post on big fan pages to get people to add you..!

well i knew you used software... but I mean 20 friends in a few seconds is pretty intense.

Then don't do 20 friends in 20 seconds..? I think the limit is 30-40 friends per day per account, if you go over, your account sets off some FB alarm to check your account!
