I have been doing keyword research but i don't know which one to write next.

I write for a shopping keyword like "coffee tables" because most of the ranking are shopping sites and the KD is very low.

There are 3 options i have.

Write directly on "coffee tables"?
Take a step back and write an article on table usage then add coffee tables?
Take a step forward then wrtie an article on "coffee tables for x"?

Which would you do if you were in my position?

Given the low KD for "coffee tables" and the ranking pattern, I'd start with a direct article on "coffee tables". This targets the primary keyword efficiently. Then, expand with articles on specific uses ("coffee tables for X") to capture niche audiences and enhance long-tail keyword reach.

Ideally, the one with more search volume
You'll have to use tools like semrush to find variations with more search interest

If you want to rank for that specific keyword, you better match the user search intent,
In your case, it will be creating an ecommerce website/page and adding the X number of average words for that page,

You can surely rank for other long tails & similar keywords and gain more topical authority as well by writing blog articles about it,
So, the ideal scenario would be to make all of them and optimize each for a set of keywords,
Don't forget about internal links, they'll help with passing link juice and even convert some of the blog articles readers
