Basically everyone worries about when to buy a coin, but few talk about when to sell it. I think it's just as important as when you buy.

Selling too early can bring you very low returns. Selling too late can ruin everything.

I would like to know the opinion of some enthusiasts on the forum (@splishsplash , @sscaz , @Monzani , @Salamouna , @Sol, @pauliakas , etc) to know how to identify the ideal time to sell a coin, the bull run is approaching in the coming months and I would like to know their opinions.

Put a trailing stop loss of 25-30% this way you milk most of the profit, right time to buy can be analysed by looking at the chart woth some basic knowledge, it can't be 100% right as chart still heavily depends on the news, fomo etc so.

I don't see that the bull run is coming yet
Im seeing the bear market soon
there is no ideal time to sell, when you buy a coin set your goal and what is the % you want to get. don't be too greedy and say I will wait more, if it reach the goal you set sell it and look for another coin.

If it’s good enough to screenshot, it’s good enough to sell.

If I am screenshotting and sharing my profit or how many x’s I have. It’s a good time to sell.

For me unless it's minimum 20X profit.
Exceptions are primary cryptos like BTC, ETH, LTC etc.

For me crypto has been a retirement investment or a gamble so I better like to hodl it as long as possible.

to each their own just take profits, realized profits are much better than unrealized profits.

Put your self a target and and withdraw your initial investment, and keep riding the rest.

-sell half at a 2x and let it ride.
-sell when people are buying lambos.
serious traders have stop loss and take profit numbers defined before they even open the trade. something to think about.

It's easy. You set a target, now, in the bear market and never change it.

Example: sell when ETH is $12k. This is final. You do NOT change it when hype comes, because hype will 100% fuck your brain

You expectations are closer to reality when times are hard (bear market)

I’m DCAing in when there’s a downtrend (6-12 months) and DCAing out when there’s an uptrend (6-12 months). There’s a couple of coins that I’m long term invested in like BTC, I’m not selling that one before my stack of sats either goes to a million or to 0.

Pretty much the hardest part in my opinion, when the greed takes over and you hold hoping on more (too much) gains.

sell into the pump, when it goes up sell 25%, then another 25%. Basically DCA selling. If it dumps atleast you’re not left holding the complete bag, and if it does continue to pump youve still got some coins to profit from the green candles.

I totally agree. That's a nice idea.

If an unknown coins market cap is going to exceed the gdp of a top ten economy at the rate it’s going sell it off before the dump part of the pump comes…..

Folks in 2021 that held a bag thought some coins would exceed the worth of top 50 stocks and they got owned be math and reality.

Meme tokens are not worth more than Walmart and apple stock…..
