Random DNS leaks with mobile proxies

I‘m testing a mobile proxy from a provider here on BHW and connect with shadowrocket on iOS.

First few times I tested there was no DNS and now all of a sudden random DNS from belgium and UK appear. (I‘m not even from those countries)

Any idea what‘s happening here? Is this the proxy providers fault?

Don‘t see what that thread has to do with my issue. DNS is leaking, it‘s not just the score site.

How can you 100% be sure of that? Just because that website is telling it??

I did not put any custom DNS, it‘s default through the proxy.

You need to manually reconfigure DNS if using a proxy. Normally, your DNS will default to 8.8.8.8 (Google), so the Country DNS will often be different from the IP. You can change it back to 1.1.1.1 to have better results. To be 100% accurate, you need to find the DNS IP that matches your proxy country to configure

But I have to use a public DNS then. That‘s not how most ,,normal users,, connection look like. Why is the DNS not from the ISP automatically?
Is this a proxy provider issue?

Because when I check DNS on my normal personal phone on 4G I get DNS from my ISP and not a public DNS like google

And remember to not use any Google DNS server like 8.8.8.8 if you try to game a Google service (Gmail, SEO, Cloud ...) or a service that uses the Google cloud. The DNS service is a huge part of their "spam protection".

There are some proxies that support DNS changes but some do not. Sometimes it is because the device does not support DNS changes and requires manual configuration. You need to contact the proxy provider again to see where the problem comes from
