hey guys,

are there any recommended strategies for mass marketing via your own tools?

two issues here seem to be that your ip can get blocked, and so can your domain.

in the past i've setup an email server with postman + mautic, and blasted away. Then i discovered how quickly the ip gets blocked.

so, naturally, i went on with ip warming.

first, i found a site that warms them up for you for like a week for free - but it limits ip's. also they got blocked fairly quickly.

then, i paid some guy on fiverr - but the ip's would get blocked also.

the only solution i see here, is that i need to scale my approach and somehow spin up a dozen or so ip addresses. blast a few thousand at a time for each, then tear down and rinse and repeat.

but does that mean i have to keep buying domains also?

i'm not an expert programmer, but i can get around linux, i can setup webservers, use ansible, etc. i mean, any advice would be really great.

my goal is to simply have a landing page setup, and push people to go there.

lastly, wondering if it's worth getting jr. VIP so that i can see the hidden email marketing section?

Thanks!

Let me cover everything i read in quick points.

1) You said you keep trying the same method repeatedly, but the issue might lead to a block on your IP or domain. Consider using multiple IPs linked to subdomains, not the primary domain. Then use Cloudflare's reverse proxy for your email traffic.

2) If your goal is to reach 50,000 per day, avoid sending all emails on the same day. Spread them out over 14 or 20 days gradually. You can handle this using a bash script on Linux for Postfix.

3) When creating your own tools, take time to build them according to your needs. It may take time, but it's worthwhile.

4) In the VIP Email Marketing section, exclusive data, tutorials, and other content not available publicly are shared among VIP members. It's your choice whether to buy or not and surely its not just about email marketing but they are many other benefits.

Cheers :)

Thanks for this thoughtful reply.

(btw meant to say postal not postman.)

so if i got this straight

1) get a handful of cheap servers on linode or something (try to automate iaas process later)
2) configure each server with postal etc. (was using batch, but converting to ansible as we speak)
3) use cloudflare to set dns for each server with subdomain pointing to its own specific ip (automate this next)
4) reverse proxy im hazy on - if i'm sending email using the mta on each server - won't the ISPs know which ip its coming from?

also is there a point in using ip pools with this strategy?

my goal is to send emails out which might be at risk, so i was thinking to send out 1k a day - and set up some kind of automation to check if the domain/ip is blacklisted. if not continue, if so, teardown the server and start a new one?

Appreciate your time!

hey thanks for this, i do appreciate the marketing side of it. right now im trying to figure out the technical strategy, and then i can spend time on iterating over the actual campaigns.
