I've been thinking a lot about what might fit me. Hopefully I can get some advice/suggestions from you guys.

I think I'm quite a creative person. I've written a long novel (time-travel, romance) and lots of readers said it's so well written, it's like a TV drama, they waited every night for new chaps. I've also created a board game and introduced it to the customers at my cafe. Some even asked for the file so they could print it out back home in France.

I wouldn't think so much about it, as I did all those things for fun mostly, no financial gain intended. But now, as AI is soooooooo advanced (I now can create free illustrations for my novel and game), I'm thinking of putting my creativity into use, hoping of earning some extra, hopefully. Do you know any kind of job opportunity (freelance, I'm already doing a 9-5 job).

Instead of freelancing (which is obviously an option), why not hire a good illustrator and sell your book on Amazon? AI is nice and all, but it still has long way to go before it can produce consistent results.
You can even publish it.
You can turn your board game into a video game. It's expensive, but you already have the fan base to give you a kick start.

Don't cut corners and I bet you'll have one of these working well for you. And if not, creative people tend to reinvent themselves pretty frequently.

Just beware of shiney object syndrome because it can kill any goos idea you have.

I wrote that one just for fun. So well, it's super niche (it's a fanfic, where I let a guy time travel to explain everything that happened in the modern time in a specific TV show, hahaa, I know it sounds crazy but it indeed got popular within the community). I have no chance to reach wide audience with that kind of content, but I just mean, I'm capable of writing novels where people care more about the plot, not the writing style (which I'm not good at).

I planned to publish my board game (it's called Vietnam Pho Life, so it's more like a souvenir, a game where people can recall their good times in Vietnam, a game that promotes both Vietnamese food and culture). Lots of people gave praises on it, but publishing a game might put me in troubles if I don't spend lots of time learning about rules and stuff.

I listed them down mostly to say that I'm creative and have multiple ideas. With my current job, I don''t have many chances to make the most of my creativity (I created a Tiktok account, got 50k followers, 2M likes, and it got banned, so I''m quite fed up with the platform).

AI is advanced but it needs work. I was able to create an ebook cover after 40 different regenerations. But eventually, I was able to get some good results. Play around with it. Do a poll and ask people to choose a cover. A/B testing is a great place to start. Don't sleep on your art. Make it work for you.
