Higher CPC = Better traffic quality or optimize to get lower CPC?

Hello, I actually think If its worth to increase CPC and possible get more quality traffic = more conversions? I don't mean increase traffic but the quality of traffic. Let me know please!

I noticed when I increase cpc way above competitors I get higher quality traffic, all ad platforms always rewards those who are prepared to pay more for traffic as opposed to those looking for ways to pay lowest cpc/cpv.

Thank you! Also do you think its possible to track user age in links? Like {age} that will result in 18–24 for example?
