Will this get me banned on Instagram?

I am setting out to download a few hundred of videos that have been posted on Instagram. I will have the links of the posts and am now tryng to find the best way possible to download them one by one without actually having to do all that.

I was thinking of creating a script with instaloader but i learned that will possibly ban my account.

Then I thought of creating a bot that will go to each link and then inspect the page and find the video link and download it. More of a manual process here, but if I make some bot that does this will Instagram still be able to detect what I am doing and block my stuff?

If there is a much simpiler way let me know as well of course

I seen people say that Instgram bans IPs and if you sue an IP that is banned your account is banned, is this not how it works?

So do it from a VPS/antidetect browser?

Using a bot to download videos from Instagram might still risk your account being flagged or banned due to automated behavior detection.
I would recommend to check Instagram's terms of service and consider using their official API, if available, for bulk downloads.

It will definitely risk a ban hammer but if you want to test it, use some fake ones.

Doing it from a cheap VPS would be a decent cheap option to stay 100% safe.

It's very easy. I have an archive of about 700,000 videos. I don't know if it's legal to give the name of the bot I use. all you need is a local old account and that's it most bots will do this.

Can? Theoretically, yes.

Really simple solution. Download WFDownloader or JDownloader2. Both are long time established freeware that will allow you to download unlimited photos or videos from IG. Login with browser, add cookies, and add a delay between each download.
