Reddit ban

Different types of bans. Mods can ban you from a single subreddit & admins can ban you from the entire site. A regular user can manually report you and that can lead to a moderator manually reviewing you. The bigger problem are the automated filters that can trigger a sitewide perma ban.
Being banned by a mod from a single subreddit is annoying but there are millions of other subs & you can start your own & if you act nice have a chance that the mod will reverse the ban. The sitewide bans by admins are the real terror & near impossible to appeal.
Reddit is much harsher than other sites. They pay attention to your IP, browser signals, & other stuff. If you are banned by a moderator or admin & try to create a new account they are very good at still recognizing you and banning your new account. Even if they don't recognize you as a returning spammer that is banned, they place new accounts under strict automated spam filters so it is easy to get a new account banned.

Can't you hide your user history? Like, posts and comments...
When banned, are comments deleted from your account?
How much users reports does it need? Just one?

You can't hide user history. When you're banned people can't access your account. There's no fixed amount of reports needed to ban someone. If you did nothing wrong, no amount of reports will ban you. If you did something wrong, the more reports, the higher the chancesof getting banned, but there's no way of knowing how many it will take.

Either u see a red banner when u get on an account saying u got banned/suspended or u can get shadowbanned which means u won t be able to see ur acc anymore when typing this: www.reddit.com/u/yourUsername
