BHW seems don't want to do anything with "Give me discount", "Give me review copy", "Promo please" and promo codes strategy of some sellers.
Anyway, post counter in The Marketplace should be disabled, even I loose 500 posts (maybe more) myself:
-it will enforce people to make their 100 posts in categories, not in The Marketplace writing "Interested" or "Discount please", then not replying. Sellers are not reporting such guys because it's free bump
-we have then newbies with 100 posts and 100% "Discount please"
Today I have seen Senior member, with few hundreds of posts and 50% asking for discount in smm panels with pasted formula.
Probably there are more like that.

+1 + the introduction + lougue. This will reduce account selling as well.

I'd disable the introduction section before I do the marketplace, just because it might prevent legit buyers from PMing a seller.

It's disable post counter, not posting itself ;)

This is simply untrue. The staff is aware of that on-going situation. There isn't any situation on the forum that isn't discussed in great length, regardless of if it reaches the public section of the forum.

This isn't a terrible suggestion. Although this would need to be ran up the chain, so-to-speak, I'm going to leave this up to get more feedback from members & see what some of the staff thinks of this suggestion.

Just disable post counter under 30-50 words. Easy.

Also add AI detection :D.

Similar stuff was already posted few months ago and people not liked it ;)
Sometimes you need to answer quick ;)
Also it's not easy, it's Xenforo, old PHP script

People don't like it? I would love it.

Also, what does it matter, "answer quick", so? Why is the post count important to you and why do you need to have it increased for low quality posts?!

If such script even exist for Xenforo. You need to consider BHW scale ;)

99% time he will be banned here already. If not, you can report him. If he has really done this, very less chances that account will be allowed here.

I am very positive that's not how it works.
Spam posts/inflating posts would be removed, member will be warned, not banned.

I personally do see this, happening quite often as well, not just new members but older ones too.
Where they would spam ~20 bsts of the same type of bst of "discount please".
Although it is hard to say if they are actually interested

I already reported my examples to the mods team :)

It's 50:50, I always PM such guys... 50% not replying again, but in meantime they posted next 10 "discount please", "interested", sometimes reporting that.

Yup and the mods can actually check a bit more if they "reply" to the potentially "DMs" that come thru
or do they just ignore it all (which is probably the sign of spam).

Are we talking pre-made scripts for one of the biggest webmaster forums? You're kidding right :D. Surely there is access to high skilled coder.

Yeah that happens a lot. Adwords BST comes in mind first. A newbie, just registered user will reply in 5 threads or so in short period of time and then dissapear. If the actual conversation took place in DMs i dont know but its definitely suspicious.

Here is an example:

4 sales threads are about Adwords, 1 is Bing. Don't tell me this is not some kind of network or what the hell. Everyday, same threads. Could be competitor doing this or just straight Homepage-bumping from same group of people/sellers.

Same old method as i have reported some time ago:

Adding AI detection will need millions because of the quality chatgpt can produce.

You just lack creativity for solving issues. AI detects AI, based on amount of reports "AI suspected", recheck, etc. Currently I can detect every AI written post if it has certain length of text, and I don't even spend time on it.

@roydan its been said b4 by Admins, they allow post counts in
the INTRO section as its easier to spot the welcome to bhw spammers
