AI generated articel Ranking

Hi,

I have observed that fully AI generated articles (GPT 4 then quillbot pharaphrased with human edits) have stopped ranking well in google serp, earlier those were ranking well.

1.Is this something common which happened after recent google update or still can you rank fully AI generated articles without any issue ?

2. Will using a tool like stealthwriter to himanize the work will help me to sort out this issue ?

They can't detect AI. So if you stopped ranking, there's certainly another reason for it.

Thank you , but I have 5 money sites running and 2 I startered experimenting with AI articles, everything was fine until a month back, sites are on different niches but SEO including the theme is similar in all 5. The sites with human articles are steady but I saw a drop in ranking on AI sites.

Maybe you need to come up with advanced prompts that give depth to AI generated content. Content produced via basic prompts doesn't rank anymore as per one of the members here on BHW I forgot his username. One thing I know for sure that building backlinks won't solve your problem as this has got nothing to do with backlinks.

Sure will try and see by altering the prompt, actually I am using a prompt asking GPT to humanize the content but the out put is still AI, hence I pharaparase and domanaul edits, but those also won't rank now.thank you

What about copy.ai they are specilist in all kind for content creation.

Its mostly because you leave ai generated articles untouched, no proof reading no optimizing , just dump it.
Also you will not rank if the articles were not indexed in the first place and what causes them to stop indexing? This is because again , people dump 500 articles per day thinking google will index everything. No they wont. if you are doing 20 per day, that is still okay , after indexing comes any form of ranking.

The recent google update have impacted the ranking of AI articles because adding human touch articles can increase better ranking and it can also improve overall readabilities.

Hi Thanks for the reply, no I posted only about 2 articles per day, didnt use any automated tool, just prompted and got the article pharapased and did human edits as well

Here is what i do.

I check the keyword i am targeting vs article. Did the article directly answer the question in the article.
The first paragragh should contain keyword being targeted.
The keyword should be mentioned in at least two subheadings
Remove common AI phrases i made a list of them before. or simply take the article to quillbot and paraphrase

Thanks for your valuble insights, yes I did pharapahase and even did manual edits but suddenly I noticed the AI articles I publish are not ranking and the human ones which I publish in my other sites are doing well . You didnt experience any issues with your AI articles ? I want to see if it is a common trend or not

This happened to my AI sites as well. My sites were ranking well, and many keywords being in top 10. Since early November's update, my sites were no longer ranking and one site's articles got all deindexed.
