Can someone explain me what is "link wheel"?

Most of you write about "link wheel" and not just about "backlinks", so far I'm not sure what "link wheel" really means, is it some tech about linking external sites (free blogs or bookmarks sites) each other instead of linking directly to our pages/sites?

search on g00gle for "link wheel tutorial". The first 5 results are relevant and will answer your question far better than a short expanation in this thread. Use the tutorials to learn the basics about what it is and how to set one up. Before you try setting one up though, come back here first and search the BHW forums for more current info on things to watch out for.

The updated information and suggestions that you haven't been understanding are important, and will make sense to you after reading the tutorials. If you use it right it can help your site a lot, but if you make mistakes it can redflag you to google and be much worse than if you did no backlinking at all.​

When I first learned about link wheels, I just Googled the keywords and got the applicable webpages. More often, you'll get better results than searching the forum posts.

And just to highlight the usefulness of the Google search engine, when BHW discontinued the cookie stuffing section, I just Googled it and found what I needed to know.
