Any effect on rankings when using backlink indexers?

Hi,

I am using 3 different backlink indexers, and they seem to be fairly effective in getting my non-indexed backlinks (back) in Google's index.

My question is: Even when you succesfully get the backlink in index with an indexer, does it really make any difference in terms of rankings? I mean, when a link is not indexed, my guess would be, the backlink - generally - is passing very litle link juice. Because, if the link was strong, it would be naturally indexed, right?

What are your thoughts? Have you seens positive ranking results after getting backlinks indexed with indexing services?

When a link is not indexed, it generally passes no juice at all. The use of indexing services is to ensure those links are recognized, indexed and link juice passed. As regards positive effect in terms of ranking, my personal theory is that a link that is unable to be indexed all by itself without the help of Google is not a very good link.
So, I generally avoid getting links from sites that don't get indexed or have serious issues. But sometimes, this theory might fail especially when you consider expired domains do need the push for some of their links to be restored.


Long story short, it should impact your ranking positively if the links are of good in the eyes of Google. It could also negatively affect your ranking, if the links are bad.

Had a project where we cranked up indexing for non-indexed backlinks, and yes, saw a nudge in rankings. But, and it's a big but, focus on quality links from the get-go. If your link is a powerhouse, it'll find its way into Google's good graces naturally. Indexing is like adding a little boost, not a game-changer. Keep hustling for those strong, organic links.
