How to steal a facebook group? Please advice.

I am an administrator in several facebook groups. Some groups are smaller (a few thousand members), others are larger (over 50,000 members). In the past, I left 2 groups (both with over 20,000 members).

Another facebook group (around 40,000 members) was stolen from me yesterday. Tell me what I did wrong.

The situation was as follows: a person on Facebook (I don't know her) offered me a deal: he gives me a Facebook group of 70,000 members, in exchange for my group of 40,000 members. I entered his group, he made me admin (the only administrator), of course I gave him my group (I made him admin).

Today I noticed that I am no longer an admin (he didn't block me, I stayed in the group) and someone else is an administrator. What bug does Facebook have? How is this possible? Have your facebook group stolen, when you are the only administrator? Practically, this is the 3rd time that I have experienced something like this. And only in large groups.

I can't believe this BS still not fixed on Facebook! Lost a big Facebook fan page back in 2012 and here is their method:

They add you as an admin and they temporarily deactivate the real admin account so it doesn't appear on Facebook once the deal is done they reactivate the admin account and remove you.

A normal admin can't remove group creator from group admin. So you need to keep your creator id safe.

It's automatic system bro. If you not Leave from group or admin no one can remove you from admin.
In the first 2 groups that I lost, I did not add anyone as an admin. I found an application that "helps" you to return the group to green (one group was on red and one on yellow). The next day I was left without these 2 groups, just running an online application.

Yeah basically when you join the purchased group you will think that the creator has left the group since his account wouldn't appear on Facebook but then they reactivate the account and kick you out.

You got scammed bro. Mybe someone take access your id and remove you from admin. It’s common now scammer target and hack big page using this trick.

Yeah, same rules for fb page also.

The only option you are left with is to report the issue to FB. They might ask you to provide the evidence that you are the owner of the group and there could be some chances that you may get your group back.

maybe they locked their account and you don't see them on Facebook you thought they left the group, but then they reactivated the account and removed your admin.

Damn, same year, same shit. Had a pretty large memes page on FB and lost it the same way.

OP, as unfortunate as it may sound, your group is gone forever. I tried for months but trying to contact FB was like trying to communicate to a wall.

You basically lost that group.

The way they do it is as follows: They add 1 account to be the administrator of that group. And then temporarily lock that account (when you are added as an administrator you will not be able to see that account on FB's browser, because that account is temporarily locked).

Next, they wait for the time without you paying attention, and proceed with the process of unlocking the temporarily locked account (such accounts only need to send a verification code to email or SMS to unlock the account). . You will then be kicked out of the group.

My description is a bit long, but if you read carefully you will understand their stealing process

To be able to get the Facebook group, what you need to do is become an admin and remove other admins then block them.

Perhaps in this case you have lost your group. As for the fact that you are the only admin, I think it is because the admin of the other page locked his account and after that they kick you
