Currently what are the working methods for driving traffic to your website or video by making comments on other people videos? Posting links doesn't seem to work any more.

Start an engaging discussion in comments with multiple accounts.

Do you post links in these comment discussions?

Linking in comment not allowed, Your account will be suspended. So, You can't drive traffic by direct link in comment via youtube. Alternatively you can add your website link like this:[websitelink dot com].

drive people to your channel and your video

post a link in bio and redirect people there (there's no about section anymore)

How do you drive people to your channel or video? Do you post a link or tell them to visit your channel?

You regularly create good content and post, and refer your friends to group a.

I make a comment on a video from my main account, then i replied to my comment from another account, but now if i am logged in to my main account the replay from my second account is not visible. Why is that?

Who comments on that stuff? I see a lot of spam to this day on some videos, like generic happy comments bought in bulk. I don't scroll down to read that junk unless the video lacks a timeline on its progress bar then sometimes some guy posts the outline of the video in the comments.

If you have your own videos then as a creator it would be worth engaging with people. Consumer though? Bah bah

Don't use links. Instead build a landing page on a custom domain, and give it a super easy to rank name i.e, "The Susan Brown Diet Plan".

Rank #1 on Google and then drop the title in comments.

Edit: Just checked, and that's a bad example because there is diet expert with the name, but you get the idea.

Or put link in your yt profile about and drive traffic there with link in bio comment

Post a comment on popular new videos Is one hint

Buy custom comments. See what sticks. Boost with likes and custom comment replies. Don't use links: create a YouTube future dated streamed video with custom thumbnail with a link in the description, and title it with a nonsense word. Refer to that word in your custom comments and replies. People search for the word and find your streamed video and link. Not very efficient but it works with enough traffic.

Repeating the same comment/ title will get the account banned
