We are mainly engaged in selling plastic woven bags for fertilizers, non-woven bags and tonnage bags, and we can sell 20 million US dollars a year in China. Now we have set up an English website and want to open up the foreign trade market to the USA and India.
Since the website is just 2 months old, there are a lot of things I don't know and need to ask for advice.
I have optimized the keywords, descriptions, H tags for SEO and also published 3-5 news articles every day to attract readers. But I don't know anything about external links and is there any advice I can give about SEO for my website?

I totally get where you're coming from with your new venture into the US and Indian markets. It's quite a journey, right? I've been in a similar boat, helping a client in the sales domain boost their revenue significantly – we're talking over R$ 100k per month! So, I might have a few pointers that could help you out.

First off, kudos on getting the SEO basics down with your keyword optimization, H tags, and pumping out those news articles. That's solid groundwork. But I hear you on the external links part – it can be a bit of a maze.

Here's the deal with external links: They're like gold in the SEO world. You want to get links from reputable sites that are related to your industry. Think suppliers, big players in the fertilizer game, or any site that talks about your kind of products. It's all about upping your website's credibility and authority.

Now, since you're eyeing the US and India, you've got to play a bit of local SEO. This means tailoring some content specifically for these markets. Maybe some articles that address specific needs or regulations in these countries? Also, social media can be a huge win here. Each market has its favorite platforms, so find out where your potential customers hang out online and make your presence felt.

And don't forget about Google My Business. It's a neat tool if you have a local presence in these countries. Helps a lot with local searches.

I hope this helps a bit. Remember, the online world is always evolving, so keep adapting your strategies. If you ever want to chat more about this or share experiences, I'm all ears. Been through the trenches myself and always happy to connect with someone walking a similar path.

Thanks a lot for your detailed reply! I would try what you say first and hope it would work on me :)

As far your are doing better keep updating quality articles that would attract natural traffic, make sure you have enough metrics to try out for back links so you can receive complete link juice to your keywords.

Build connections with influencers or industry blogs—genuine relationships pay off. Guest posts can be gold for backlinks. Also, consider local directories, like Yellow Pages, for an initial boost. Engage in forums where your market hangs out.

according to my experience you should do its off page SEO through a very high quality guest posts on quality sites

make a commish plan and find people in those places to help you sell and get new clients.

good luck

if SEO for websit is well done, you should start getting backlinks. 1 step - look what your competitors do

That's really a good suggestion. Although I have searched what they have done and find the website of their backlink, I do not know what I can do next.

Always the same problem.. Lack of Free Traffic methods in order to generate visitors..

keep me up with your progress will be a pleasure, feel free to keep contact.
Hi evilshoes, there are some updates that I want to share with you. Could you plz give me more advice according to my situation?

1. First, I want to introduce our company's products, so that you would have a fundamental understanding of the strategy of my website. Our company sells PP woven sacks and Non-woven sacks for fertilizer or animal feed. Thus the profit is very very very low for one sack, just 0.3 RMB (not dollars) in China, and we need to sell as more as possible to make profits.

2. For the site I've built which is 2 months old, I'd like to lay out to you what I've done. First of all, my site is a showcase site rather than a retail site. I paid someone to build my site, and when I did I emphasized on page structure, page layout, page beautification and other key points, and the presentation results are excellent!
After the build was completed, I made SEO changes and beautified the keywords and descriptions on each page, as well as editing the alt attributes of the images and submitting the sitemap file to google. Posted about 3 articles a day in the news section.

Right now I have two messages on my page and have learned from google console that the views are only 70 and the hits are only 3.4%.

3. I'm still very confused about the backlink setup, I know which ones are good but I don't know how to get them. Is it for me to post articles on blogs? Or do I need to contact someone to get the backlinks?

Very thanks for your patience!

After some quick research, there's little search traffic globally for the products.

Plus, sites in the niche rank for very few keywords.

Even if you ranked page 1 for decent keywords, that's not going to equate in to a meaningful return.

I'd spend my time with B2B outreach, undercutting present suppliers at a city by city level.

Hello Victor! I've emailed you, so let's talk about your case.

1 - It's something common in the industry: low profits and high volumes. I think it's still worthwhile for an internet business, but maybe your strategy needs to be more B2B sales-guided. What do you think?

2 - Your site is really nice; I looked at it before! But the content challenge is something very dynamic. You need to produce and post periodically. Also, try to expand your target countries; I think there are customers for you here in LATAM.

3 - It's your decision! Backlinks strategy tends to be different when you talk about a specific market or industry, and that's your case. I suggest you make a benchmarking with international and other China players in your sector. And them start publishing content in your site to be ranked. If you find really confusing you should call for professional advice, or brake the process in small parts do it yourself.

If there's something more, feel free to contact me

You need to find a food SEO seller and stick with him for at least 6 months. If he is able to rank your website, you should continue with him for all life. There are many panels on BHW which are tested by mods, you can make a trial order with some of these.

Your strength is offline sales and you should focus on that. If you want to make it big online, you need help of some good agency.
