CTR manipulation went wrong. What Should I Do now?

I found a CTR manipulation provider on one of the "find a freelancer" sites. I asked for a CTR boost but what he is doing looks way too much unnatural to me.

What's your opinion about that? Check the attached image.

What's your experience, what are the best practices to do a CTR boost?

Can you recommend any program for that? I tried CTRboss that is also promoted here, but it seems quite expensive in comparison with some other providers, for example serpempire.

And what should I do not, to avoid any penalties?

Are you doing this for local? You shouldn't be increasing your traffic by more than 20% per month. That's quite aggressive.

CTR manipulation should start very slowly and scale over time when also organic CTR rises with positions, it's a pretty sensitive thing to manipulate successfully - and should only be done by people that know exactly what they are doing. Either way it must be scaled down slowly if you plan on stopping now, don't stop it all at once..

I have little experience, I had custom software and used it for almost 2 years, I can only say that, wrong strategy is when you want to rank everything, all pages / keywords, although they don't appear in the results, they don't appear on the 1st page, everyone starts first with that strategy, it's wrong because it leaves a footprint for the unrealistic

I absolutely agree, anyone can feel tiny line if have similar tool and testing..., but with this dynamic SERP it can be more than 3% per month, but not more than 30%

IF those aren't branded terms, the CTR is way too high and unnatural.

If that's not your main money site, I'd let it continue since it keep you ranking for a bit until they do a manual penalization.

If you heavy on it, you cannot quit cold turkey.
You need to taper it down.

Otherwise your website gonna get withdrawal.
Instant rank fked up.
That will take years to fully recover.

I would adivse to stop trying CTR manipulation and instead try and grow organic
