I currently hold about $2000 worth of alt coins there. Do not want to move to physical wallet as I keep changing the coins as per market conditions. Are my funds completely safe there ? How can I increase the safety there ?

Yes, It is safe, But always turn on 2FA security.

safety is defined by someone's thread modell! But you can check out those:

1. Two-factor authentication (2FA)
2. Anti-phishing code
3. Binance Verify
4. Withdrawal whitelist
5. Alerts and notifications

Be careful with whom you trade on the (exchanges) marketplace as there are several methods currently working to trick you (or the binance customer service).

2FA with different device will make it pretty safe for most accounts,
Binance has been banning and stealing from a lot of users on my country recently, for whatever reason they see it fits,
You must be really careful on how much you keep in there or simply switch to a different platform

You should not ask, if your account is safe from hackers.
You should ask, if your account is safe from Binance.
Yes, make physical wallets. I have few of them.
No more corporation closing your account because some bullshi.t. No more corporation threat you because you sold product on blackhat forum. Yes, Binance got my old BST and asked to stop sales because it's against their policy to sell such products.

Has anyone experienced P2P trading on Binance?

On both my last transactions from USDT to Wise both buyers asked me if it's ok to send payment to Wise from a different name from the one registered even though Binance makes me tick that payment is from the "same name" user. Both went through fine but I do suspect some kind of foul play.

Anyone knows if this ^ is dangerous?

Do they ban your account for selling here?

Security is improved with access barriers, a long robust password that cannot be remembered and several intermediate verifications, for example an SMS code, another to email, another with an authenticator. It is very difficult to be robbed because there is no time to have access to so many options without being the owner.

Depends to product. My old product was how to make google play accounts and they told it's against policy. I think many things like SMM panels are against policy too.
They found adress in old BST and told me they will close my account if I not remove in 24h. Even I was not selling product for years ;)

This is not dangerous if you use it from European guys. SEPA name can be fake to some amount of money in transaction. In most countries it's 10k euro, but there are some with 1k euro

If you have 2fa and you do not save the password in your web browser or use a simple password you should be fine, 10 or 12 characters long capital, lower case numbers and special characters, same with your email linked in your account.

Curious, what you were selling?

This is very common and in many cases safe to go (especially within europe /sepa) but to be honest, you are probably washing stolen funds.

I'm in EU, both times their names sounded Eastern European like Ukranian / Georgian / Russian. Also their completed trades ratio was like 99% and hundreds of trades each.

How about the current BST you have ? You still use binance for that ?

2FA is always a pretty secure method to prevent hackers from going into your account but then again nowadays hackers have the ability to bypass this thus making 2FA less safe.

No exchange is 100% safe

Keep your funds on a hardware wallet

Also, exchanges can lock your acct for no reason. They claim some BS and start asking you everything, all your personal life.

Use DEX instead, something like TraderJoeXYZ
