Does Meta check the connected Instagram Account? (BlackHat Ads)

Hey there, I run Facebook ads in the online gambling niche. Recently I encountered a problem with some of my accounts / ads. The ads are safe for Facebook moderation (I currently run them on other accounts), however sometimes new ads are rejected. Could it be that Meta checks the connected Instagram account when reviewing?
For example, you set up ads and the name of the connected account is "casino.ireland" does Meta recognize the word "casino" and send the ad into a manual review?

I can't really find another explanation for it, the ads are super safe but the Instagram page has a lot of content related to gambling.

Any experiences / opinions on this? Thanks :)

I'm looking for the real answer as well. It's hard to tell since facebook has many unseen algorithm.

Hard to say for sure because Facebook is notoriously hush hush about the process.

But in my experience anytime I've lost an Instagram page I've also lost access to the connected Facebook page. These days I keep them unlinked when doing anything blackhat.

Might be the best option. I never had any probles with the Instagram pages, just recently they started rejecting my ads and I think that might be because of my connected page.

Don't you think you loose some potential users when you are not linking the pages? I tracked my clicks and quite a few came from people who saw the ad -> visited my profile -> clicked the link to my landing page in the bio. All of these people would be lost

For me there was a small drop in traffic but it was worth the sacrifice instead of losing both pages and having to start from scratch every time. But you'd have to check your analytics and numbers to see how much that extra traffic is worth to you.

Yeah, makes sense. Thanks for sharing :)

I don't think they mention that Meta specifically does, but I can't imagine that process would be particularly different specially if it's, you know, connected/ linked.
