How much do you bench?

265, not totally a good form tho,
Wouldn't ask for more,
Focusing in legs nowadays mostly,
You got a good one there, good for you ^^

Well, not sure about my form either. But it doesn't give me injuries, so I guess its ok. :)

Lets see how IT nerds perform in the gym.

Me personally, I can't get above 275lbs, been stuck there for years and its probably close to my max(unless I changed my whole lifestyle around the gym, which I don't want to).
Damn you are strong! I have a 1 rep max of 120kg... currently 22 years old so got some time to catch up to you ;)

My regular program is 50kg 12 reps 4 sets and Im 80kg. PR is 90kg
You probably should focus more in 5-8 harder reps,
Aim for 70-80 Kgs for reps and you'll get better results,
Your reps are too light for your 1RM

165lbs, 8-10 reps. Bodyweight 156lbs.

I usually train alone so I didn't really test my 1 rep max yet.

We are not nerds, but Black Hat enthusiasts.

I don't lift simply because 1. I prefer manual labor. 2. I don't like to put too much pressure on my joints. 3. I find it super boring.

Overall I felt it did more harm than good to me, so I quit after a few trials.

I used to bench 100 lbs after 2 months or smth. But zero benefits other than bigger chest.

Hit 100kgx4 flat bench and decided to reduce weight and increase reps. Shoulder joints were taking too much of a hit. Probably a form issue.

Bench is a bad exercise because it makes your body parts ugly due compression of muscles.

You should not focus on that and if you work it at all, do low weights and be light with reps and everything.

Best exercise is pull-ups with weights.

im inviting @davids355 to answer this question
and we didn't see updates on that journey for long time now

This is silly advice. Bench is a fundamental compound movement.

Bench (I prefer dumbbell inline now), deadlift, squat, dips and pullups are all you need.
