Use ideogram.ai. it's a text to image generator. Then use vectorizer.ai to convert the result to SVG

Inkscape does a great job, specially with the new version (2.x). I would go as far as saying it does a better job than illustrator (yeah, flame me guys.. but try the new Inkscape out first).

Oh, and best of all, it is free and opensource.

My bad it is not inkscape 2, but inskape 1.3. Upto 1.2 it was the old interface.
