So for the past two months I've been doing a deep dive into Tiktok metadata.
I first began with removing metadata from the videos (which I think works best)
Then I got obsessed with trying to make the videos look at 'real' as possible.
This includes copying ALL unique metadata from the Tiktok camera and putting it onto a new video. I also add a new copyright hash and change the filename to something unique. I made scripts that do this in one click.
If you compare the videos from my script to original tiktok videos there is absolutely zero difference.
Tiktok has unique metadata tags for videos exported from its camera. Logic would tell you to copy those, right? Wrong.
And in my struggle, I've found that it doesn't really work. I wasted like 2 months of my time playing around with something that doesn't work.
I've tried editing the videos, applying my own invisible watermark (in case tiktok is applying a watermark), and nothing worked.
Many people will also tell you it's as simple as changing the brightness/contrast/taking a few seconds off. No it isn't. That does not change the AI video hash. For more info look up videohash on python: https://pypi.org/project/videohash/
That is the true video hash, which is very hard to manipulate. Cropping, editing, adding a few pixels, or any such things won't change the true video hash.
And using MD5hash changing apps won't work either, because they superficially change the hash in a way that adds extra data to the file which tiktok automatically flags as suspicious.
My highest viewed video using this method was like 28k views. But nothing more. I managed to get shadowbanned while testing and now every video I upload has "not eligible for fyp" on it.
Even when you do change the metadata, tiktok shadowbans your video to only have 250-300 views.
I highly doubt anyone has a real method for this and if they're selling, they're lying and won't show proof. They'll claim it's easy and they've figured it out but they won't show real proof.
