OffShore hosting, small storage - how do you get around it?

Hi,

Me and my son are looking at starting a business (not porn) and we are looking at offshore hosting but they offer so little disk space (we are looking at shared to start with, then moving up as the business moves).

Now the majority of people use offshore hosting for porn but when you are getting around 25GB of storage (a lot of them are lower), where do you store your files? Am I missing something?

shared hosting doesnt meant to host Files, you need separate storage server for that.

Which company are you looking at? They should have storage options that are separate.

I would add that not only is storage separate but there are usually also different types of storage options. Both in terms of IO, reliability (RAID, backup copies) and in terms of how the storage is stored (filesystem, object storage, etc) and each have their pros and cons. So depending on the use case for your business idea you'll want to do some research on what is going to be best for you

Sorry to hear that we do provide free website migration cPanel to cPanel databases, files, emails etc up to 5GB free but it’s your responsibility if the plugins are outdated and DNS records are fixed properly afterwards.

Thanks, your support got back to me quickly. Sadly, we are using Hestia, already have it installed on both servers but we cannot get an upto date back up done from the old host, it just won't make one. If you have any tips, please, please share. Thanks
