Setting up a Tiktok US account - Non-US user - steps/advice for long term account

Im looking to set up a Tiktok US account. I dont live in the US currently. Im a music artist who wishes to post content to reach a US audience

Im thinking of a few options and would be great to get some feedback from the pros who've done it successfully on what would work :

1. Buy a US number from the TextMe app, use VPN with a dedicated IP (NordVPN) to register a Tiktok account, with the US number that I got via TextMe,
- via this way, as Ive created an account with a US number, if I post content using my wifi/data that is NOT in the US (I live in Malaysia), will my audience still reach the US?

Via this method, must I also get a US sim card on my phone (turned off GPS location, factory reset, etc), and then am I able to post content with my normal wifi/data thats in Malaysia, and reach US audiences?

2. My sister is going to the US next week. I can ask her to buy a US sim card, and then register a Tiktok US account while shes got the US sim card in her phone.

After she's done that, am I able to log in from Malaysia and start posting with my wifi/data here (turned off location/factory reset) and it'll be fine?
Since it would seem like Im from the US, but Im travelling in Malaysia

For the pros who've experienced this, please let me know your thoughts on either options!

Ive tried whereby I got someone to register a Tiktok US account for me, they were in the US, and when I logged in via VPN on a dedicated IP (NordVPN), I couldnt follow other accounts. Did Tiktok restrict my account?

I have heard of 4G proxies. So would that be necessary even if I've done option 2? Registering a Tiktok US account with a US sim card.

Furthermore, if I bring the US sim card back to Malaysia, and post using my local wifi/data, would I still need a 4G proxy?

If I do need a 4G proxy, which one is the optimum for Tiktok, residential IP or mobile IP?
I've also heard Tiktok being able to trace proxies. That true? If so, how to avoid that

All you need is a sim or ip of the country you want to target. Home wifi works with sim. Don't forget to change your language and region to english and US. That's all, a really simple setup. If you do decide to use a vpn or a proxy make sure to remove any sims from the phone as you don't need both. I recommend your sister gets you a prepaid sim when she visits as the sim doesn't even have to be activated and send it to you as the phone that is posting has to have the US sim in it in order to target the US fyp. Apart from the Factory Settings Reset for the Ipohone, turning on Airplane mode and off GEO location.

Im wondering... In order to download Apps on the iPhone you need to register an AppleId in the phone.

If i do not use a Sim card, how am i supposed to create the new AppleId with USA location to download tiktok? I think you need the number to confirm the creation of the apple id Account.

Furthermore, If I chose to use VPN (which one do you recommend?) and can i use it anywhere or only and always in the same home wifi, for example? or if i am travelling, can i just keep VPN on before accessing tiktok and wherever I am make a new post without affecting the US tiktok location?

There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube on how to make an US Apple ID, just search them up and follow the tutorial.

I don't really recommend to use VPNs, they can work but most of them are bad. You can just get a cheap 2-3$ static residential proxy and it will work but for the longterm it's much easier to just get a US sim.

You'll have to do a factory reset and a new Apple ID in order for it to work properly.

Any prepaid sim will work and it doesn't need to be activated. Just get the cheapest one you can find from ebay or amazon.

You can create in browser by following this step.
1. Create new profile.
2. Add a VPN extension and change your IP to US.
3. Go to Tiktok and create account by email.
You can create about 6 accounts by this method until Tiktok force you regist on phone.

A sim card from the US costs about $30, so I don't think it's an expensive option. Especially compared to 4G proxies. The method is pretty cheap, so I'll probably test it on Wednesday, just wanted to make sure of all the steps. Probably the best would be to combine US sim card and 4G proxies but if it works cheaper why not.

Is it required to factory settings a phone (iphone)? Similar to the previous post, i use my iphone for regular daily use and would prefer not having to restore it, but i purchased it its region its Europe. Do you think getting a US sim card and using local wifi network may be enough?
Also, do i need a new tiktok account after putting the sim card inside? and can the sim card be taken out while not using tiktok?

Hey Giany, thanks for the suggestion. mind sharing where can we get cheap but real tiktok aged accounts? i've seen people sellinf them on discords and other sites for around $20+ and others supposedly to be approved for the creators program for even more but all i want is a real tiktok account i can post vids for US audience. Any legit resellers out there you can commend? Appreciated.
