Category pages not getting indexd

I have a review site and over 50 category pages there. These category pages are not getting indexed. They are not disallowed in Robots.txt as well. The console shows it cannot index them. What could be the possible reasons for it?

Well, what reason is the console giving for not being to index them?

Many Wordpress SEO plugins will noindex category pages by default - you might want to dig around in plugin settings if you're using that kind of setup.

What about the contents of that page? are there thin content? As most of the categories are low in content quantity.

Do you use GSC for a lot of indexing requests/url inspections? If so it might be the 'hostload exceeded' issue, wherein Google thinks they've crawled your site enough for the time being. Oh, and remember to use multiquote to prevent a slap on the wrist

Yes, no category pages are showing up there.
