I have a 3 months old ebay account. Been browsing products and adding to cart I want to know am I ready to start selling or should I age it more?
How do you warmup your account to not get banned?

Just start selling honestly. Your issues should be with Paypal, not Ebay.

Ebay isn't that hard to warmup, there not so big on that.

Just make sure you have proper recieipts and invoices for everything.

I'm going to dropship and I'm going to sell honestly no scamming or blackhat niches but in ebay's eyes they hate dropshipping so I thought I should ask the forum to avoid any potential pitfalls.

Ebay discontinued Paypal now they ask to attach a Payoneer account.

I see, yeah theres always issues with ebay and reselling. I know theyve asked me for receipts and invoices for all my items at one point.

Youll definitely run into road bumps especially if you're scaling. Maybe not so much if you're not doing that much volume.

The best thing you can do is, have receipts for everything and start small. Don't rush into things. Keep customers happy too.

Thanks.
What kind of receipts they asked? And did they accept receipts from other retailers like Walmart and Home Depot for example?

I don't mind not scaling honestly its more of a side hustle for me I assume $350-400 per month is not scale and can keep me under the radar no? :)

They just asked for receipts for where i purchased the products and most of the time it was for more expensive products or products I was selling multiple of.

3 months old is enough but the most important is your machine setup and proxy

I'm running my account on my PC that has never sold anything on ebay before and I don't have proxies just my residental IP which have never sold on ebay before. Is there anything else I need to consider before start selling?
Throughout these months I've browsed, added to wishlist..etc

It's good. Now list an item

Also I've not setup a seller account yet just added my address on file and ready to buy
I've not bought anything.
Am I safe to list items now or is there anything I need to do further?
And that first item should it be a dropship item?

Start with inexpensive products, an unpopular brand, I would make 10-12 such sales. If you withdraw the money and everything is in order, I think you can put something at a higher price

I always try to warm it up by having it a few week and watching a couple of items.
When it come to listing a product I normally go for a book which I sell as used but for full retail price. Leave that for a week and see if your account get banned. If not then normally add a few more items you want to sell.
But always go slowly with new accounts.

I completely agree, I would first sell 1 product - withdraw money, then 2 products and so on in increasing order, and also would not display an expensive brand in the first 3 months of sales

All you need, most importantly, you have. This is a warmed-up ebay and the payoneer is connected.
To minimize the risks of association with dropshipping and get better results, make a competent rewrite of product descriptions.
If you can find a way to make the images unique so that ebay will accept them, that will be even better.

What is wrong with all these generic answers, Paypal was disconnected from eBay a few years ago.

OP listen to me, these poeple dont sell on eBay anyway.

Start with auctions only, eBay likes auctions way more than fixed pricing. Dont sell same item for xx times, sell multiple different norisky items (unbranded, cheap). Use own photos. Take some breaks between sales. Three months old account is enough old, I sell after 2-3 weeks.
