Are google ads worth for a Fiverr gig?

Would google ads targeted directly at my gig help both push it and to get people to buy the actual thing? I have a really good service to offer, genuinely better than 95% of what's available but getting it out there has proven to be near impossible. Most people looking for it would probably buy it if only they clicked the actual gig.

I might do this anyway, but I'm curious what you guys think

lol you're just advertising Fiverr's site- majority will probably arrive at the site, look at it, and leave... if you're running ads, you need to also run re-marketing ads.

you should have a site/lander that leads to your fiverr gig and perhaps a few other sites where you offer freelancing on a marketplace. Or offer them to email/chat with you directly and set up a chatbot to collect some info... do a little extra work if your'e actually gonna run ads- don't just pay to bring fiverr more customers that aren't even on their site to begin with.

Why would you do that? Build a simple lander and capture the leads by yourself. In 99% it a bad idea to pay ads for a marketplace.

You could also try some backlinks to rank your gigs on fiverr. It works.
