I know, but this qualitty is way more differentBy default, when you upload a video to YouTube,
the video is encoded (compressed) once, so the quality is different from the original video
As far as I know, the standard bitrate for YouTube 4k is 44~56Mbps, and even if you upload more than that, it will be compressed
Will it be incredibly degraded?I know, but this qualitty is way more different
If you drop a reference i can tell you maybe what the problem is. There will surely be some degradation in quality due to YouTube's compression, so it depends on if you think that level of compression is not good in your eyes.I have posted 4k video on YouTube. But it doesnt looks like 4k when watching on YouTube. Video is not sharp, kinda blurry, just bad quality. I have exported it with 120Mps Bitrate so this should not be a problem.
Can i send you link to the YouTube video? Export settings are 4K, 120Mps Bit rate, 60fps,H.265, MP4If you drop a reference i can tell you maybe what the problem is. But if you think there is a strong level of degradation, then i won't be able to know without seeing the difference between the source file, the exported video, the link to the uploaded video, and the exact export settings & bitrate.
Do i need to do that ? I took video files from gopro, edited them in premiere pro and exportedDo you render your video files?

the quality seems fine to me, i'm not sure what's wrong?
It was recorded with GoPro camera, bitrate was 120Mbps, did you watch it in 4k or 1080p because i think in 1080p it looks bad. Or this is how it should look ?the quality seems fine to me, i'm not sure what's wrong?
i paused the frames on the fishing scenes, and the grass had fine texture that looks ok for 4k.
what device is this recorded with? an iPhone? or some DSLR camera?
is the footage recorded from the camera directly uploaded or did you re render it? i think you did, because there is an edited video.
if so, what is the bitrate and settings of the source recorded file? then i can compare it with this, although i do think that 50 to 100mbps should be fine for 4K
from the go pro, the default picture quality is already not as sharp or high as a DSLR camera. the quality looks like this as i've seen in other go pro videos. so yes it looks as expected. It was recorded with GoPro camera, bitrate was 120Mbps, did you watch it in 4k or 1080p because i think in 1080p it looks bad.
