Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has first hand positive experience with SEO providers. We invested resources with a few companies on Upwork but no gains, seems many use similiar one size fits all tactics.
We need link building and key word search optimization. Web search for now then expand to ASO for our android and iOS apps.
Keyword Research is all about analyzing the SERPs and picking keywords that your website can actually rank for. In general, if you see user generated content and weakish sites on the first page you can go after that keyword. Since the last update however, I see a lot of shitty Reddit and Quora threads overtaking useful content, not sure if this is going to be the norm going forward, but if it is then all you need to do is find weak/new sites and steal the keywords they are ranking for on the first page.
As for optimizing for keywords, trust me when I tell you this, all you need is keyword in the page title and H1. Everything else is bullshit. I never do anything else and I still rank page 1 for 80 = 90% of the keywords I go after. There is no such thing as keyword density etc. It's all crap.
For linkbuilding you just need sites that are relevant to your niche. Anything that is in the mobile domain or tech (broad) is fair game. You just want to make sure the host site has a good number of referring domains of high quality and that the content on the site is relevant and well written, also the host is selective in their link selling (not a link farm that will sell links to any site). Build ~ 80% to your home page, and the other 20% to pages targeting harder keywords. Make sure to interlink your pages.
Thank you for the quick reply ! Will they go as far as providing WP site suggestions to optimize page loading ? I hear every second counts towards page ranking. Google console is always in the red with page optimization issues.
For page loading all you need is:
1. WP Rocket plugin or any other cacheing plugin, this one is just popular and very easy to setup.
2. CDN, either your host can provide one or sign up at bunny.net, cheap and 100% reliable.
You can read about it and set it all up within a day, it's a one time thing nothing fancy or hard.

The most important thing when it comes to SEO is that
you need to know how to do it yourself BEFORE you outsource it. 99% of service providers sell nothing but snake oil. They will burn you and sell you garbage 100% almost every single time. Unless you know how to evaluate SEO, you will get fucked over period. If you're serious about your project then educate yourself or be prepared to get your ass handed to you.
Good luck!
