“Not Eligible for the For You feed”

So I’ve made a handful of posts on TikTok. I’m not exactly disappointed with my results so far, however I am getting mad that every single one of my posts seems to be getting flagged with “Not Eligible for the For You feed” after the first 100 views or so.

Here’s 1 example of a post:

Details about this post: 14 Seconds long. I screen recorded the scene from YouTube. Added the caption in tik tok. And used a trending song. I may have also changed the aspect in CapCut (can’t remember).

Any ideas what’s wrong with this or what I could do differently/add so that it’s eligible for the fyp?

This is just one format that’s been flagged. I have other meme formats that have been consistently flagged as well.

Also just to clarify, this is just a screenshot of the tik tok. It’s actually an entire 14 second scene from the movie that plays. I just turned the audio from the scene off

Tiktok is a fickle beast with a hairpin trigger auto-mod. In my experience, they are pretty responsive to inquiries of this nature on their support page. Have you tried appealing these/asking for clarification from Tiktok through the in-app support?

Usually TikTok says the reason why it's not eligible for the FYP. Check the video and find out why. You can also appeal it and usually it goes approved.

Hi we had this same issue, not for the same types of videos but what works for us is when video is saved to gallery crop the all of the edges (essentially zoom in) so the pixels are different mirroring also works hope this helps you

You'll want to try adding filters or heck, even noise, on the clip. I know it's only 14 sec long, but TikTok gets weird about these things for some reason. On the other posts it happens to, is there also movie clips on them or some such?

Got the exact same problem. One video got flagged and now 0 views the next 5 videos. I m super frustrated
