Scrapping every restaurants datas and sell them

Hey!

Im trying a new business, feel free to ask your questions or speak with me about your ideas.

Im scrapping every Swiss restaurant datas, I got a huge .csv file with those columnas filled for each restaurant: Name, Website, Address, Email, Phone Number

I got a domain, freescrapper.com and Im planning to post it here, give free access to a part like 10% and make the biggest part not free and accessible through a monthly 5$ subscription plan.

This plan will also include access to every data I will post on the website, other countries restaurants etc.. but everytime it will be big listing of business and contacts.

Apollo is a leads platform where you can get linkedin profiles of owners of bussinesses etc. You can get their buying intent for example if they're intrested in buying chatbots etc.

Oh I see! Here nothing than complexe, just a big database of worldwide business contacts and a very cheap 5$\month subscription. With I think a very easy and effective way to search and combiné data to make and export custom .csv files

monthly 5$ subscription plan maybe would not work as you hope. Data doesn't change that much, they will do it once and cancel subscription, maybe again after 6 month they'll take another shot at it, at best.
Data is valuable enough to sell it one-time payment 100 usd or more, specially if you have their valid emails. You can expand databases later, like hotels, tour agencies, even HVAC systems and 'smaller' industries.

thanks for the advice. You right, its complicated to make subscription and one time paying look better, or make subscription like 100$ for a year for example? Hard to fond the exact good way to monetize

For a narrow targeted list like yours, the more it's available to people (making it public), the less valuable it is, you'll just kill your product before you sell it, no one want a list where 100 other competitors already bombarded with cold emails.
You are better off finding one time client & sell it for +$1K.

Yup, a sample is fine, but only to that one interested buyer.

Domain name shouldn't cripple your earnings just because you didn't planned it well. freescraper.com can be used for landing page and social media promotions so your main site is safe, use it for small free samples like domain name suggests, but from there you can funnel people to another purchased domain where hopefully you will not use word 'free' in domain, and do the real sales there.
Do a research who would be your buyers. Research industry; for example research business (ex. hotels), find what they need on regular bases (ex. taxi services and shuttle services, drivers in the lobby ready to go), and find who offers those services (ex. local taxi companies), then scrape businesses and offer databases to providers. This is just an example, it's up to you what to do. Don't go blind - research providers first, see what they offer, how much would pay for scraped leads, get some numbers before spending time on the project.
