Building a new website creator/generator program. What features stay and go?

I am building a website builder and want to know what standing opinions are on the program like. Let's hear your favorites features, functions, likes/hates, etc.

I completely get the personalized widgets/content control over each area.

By " sidebars ", what do you mean exactly?

Just want to make sure we are on the same page.

Yeah I think side columns with the ability to put navigation menus, advertizing blocks, or additional content and images would be a must have feature.

BTW aftershock, how is the website builder coming along?
