Is Email Marketing Still Valuable?

I've always been curious about something. Affiliate marketing strategies have been proven to be not only feasible but also cost-effective and efficient through market practice. So why do many businesses still insist on email marketing? Personally, I receive dozens of spam emails every day and never care to pay attention to their content. The constant notification sounds from emails only annoy me, and I believe I'm not the only one feeling this way. With this question in mind, I consulted a friend in the industry. He told me that email marketing remains important because it allows businesses to communicate directly with a large audience at a relatively low cost and enables personalized communication with customers, leading to higher engagement and conversion rates. For instance, businesses can use customer data, such as purchase history, browsing behavior, and demographic information, to create more relevant and personalized email campaigns. However, I countered, consumers have a high aversion to spam emails, and your product promotion may not necessarily be effective. He acknowledged this and said that their primary marketing strategy is still affiliate marketing. They manage multiple platform accounts through tools like more login to maintain a basic user base, and email marketing serves more as a supplementary means. I didn’t know what to say to his response; all I know is that I still have to endure the torment of spam emails. I also want to ask everyone, does anyone really make purchases based on the content in emails?

Email marketing and spam aren't the same thing. Email marketing is effective if you have a list of emails from users that accepted to receive mails from you because they're interested in your content and/or products. Now, to just randomly send emails to people who don't want to get them is pretty much dead. I'm sure some spammers may still find success with it, but is it something good and reliable to invest your time and money in? I'd say no.

yesterday i opned an email just by curiosity i dont even now who is the sender when i open it it was i youtuber that i watched a few video 2 years ago . so yes emails can still bring you traffic.
you just need to build trust with your email list to make it profitable

When targeted properly, yes it definitely does the Job. However, try to stay away from mass mailing.

Email marketing a cost-effective way to communicate directly with a large audience and enables personalized engagement, leveraging customer data for relevance. Effective email marketing can still drive conversions for some customers

It is profitable but the setup and learning cost is very high. If you have budget to handle this, later you can make consistent profits.

You must have a targeted list to get a most out of it.

Definitely. Infact it is greater than any other channel of marketing if you have specific emails list not just random collections.

hey, i made a post coming from a bit more experienced background - but largely the same question - any chance you can offer some insight?

hey guys,

are there any recommended strategies for mass marketing via your own tools?

two issues here seem to be that your ip can get blocked, and so can your domain.

in the past i've setup an email server with postman + mautic, and blasted away. Then i discovered how quickly the ip gets blocked.

so, naturally, i went on with ip warming.

first, i found a site that warms them up for you for like a week for free - but it limits ip's. also they got blocked fairly quickly.

then, i paid some guy on fiverr - but the ip's would get blocked also.

the only solution i see here, is that i need to scale my approach and somehow spin up a dozen or so ip addresses. blast a few thousand at a time for each, then tear down and rinse and repeat.

but does that mean i have to keep buying domains also?

i'm not an expert programmer, but i can get around linux, i can setup webservers, use ansible, etc. i mean, any advice would be really great.

my goal is to simply have a landing page setup, and push people to go there.

lastly, wondering if it's worth getting jr. VIP so that i can see the hidden email marketing section?

Thanks!

if there is a database of addresses - yes, if it’s just spam then definitely not
